Third Year Distribution: Between November and January this year, the Trust distributed more than 4,000 textbooks and readers, 60,000 exercise books, more than 25,000 pencils and a variety of pens, pencil-sharpeners, drawing paper and other materials to schools in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Uganda and South Africa.

We also completed work on two new classroom blocks, creating a total of eight classrooms for two schools in Malawi.

Costs and Charges: In it’s third year, the Trust spent a total of £35,000 on educational materials and building projects, while building up a reserve of capital to fund the production of the CharCharChest and book- and poster-printing programmes.
